Jonathan P. Perlman, MD

Dr. Perlman established The Perlman Center for Eye and Eyelid Surgery on November. 1st 2002.
​
Prior to opening the Perlman Center, Dr. Perlman practiced Ophthalmology & Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery with Woodland Clinic Medical Group and was the founder and director of The Eye Institute at Woodland Healthcare.
​
Dr. Perlman received his Bachelor of Science degree "with Distinction" from Stanford University in 1982. He received his Medical degree from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Perlman then completed a transitional internship at Tuscon Hospitals Medical Education Program in Tuscon, Arizona. His Ophthalmology residency was at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles from 1987 to 1990. Dr. Perlman completed a post residency year of training with Drs. David & Richard Tenzel in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery in North Miami Beach, Florida from 1990 to 1991.

Dr. Perlman is an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at UC Davis. He also serves as medical director for Vision Service Plan (VSP).
​
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The California Association of Ophthalmology and the ALTA California Eye Society.
